Oh man where to even start!? This was the HIGHLIGHT of our whole 9 days exploring Alaska! My husband and I did the Helicopter Bear Safari with Kirsten, and it was breathtaking. Once we entered the coolest helicopter (seriously this thing was like something you'd imagine helicopters to be as a little kid!) We lifted off towards our destination which is located within "the ring of fire". We got to marvel at the volcanos and the sights around! Then the real fun began. As we entered the area we were going to explore it felt like a scene from Jurassic Park! We got a birds-eye view of bears exploring in all directions, and the mountains completely captivated us! When we landed we took a short walk to soon be SURROUNDED by bears. One bear even crossed RIGHT IN FRONT of us on his way to go clamming 😃. Because we were there during Mating Season, we were able to see: the males trying to approach the females, the mother bears on the constant look-out for their cubs and even a pair mating. We were able to: touch bear fur on the trees, compare our hands to the enormous paw prints, and we saw wolf paw prints too. We took another short flight to one of the most spectacular places my husband and I have ever seen! Kirsten calls it The Nursery. The Nursery had countless Momma Bears and Cubs. We were trying to keep a tally of how many bears we saw and we lost count after 50 😂. The greatest thing about this place was we felt so distant from reality. The land that Alaska Ultimate Safari has access to is Native Land, meaning there is nothing there but what nature has put there! There's just no words to describe it. In short, we'll never forget this incredible experience! Thank you Kirsten and Eric for sharing your epic "office" with us🏞️🐻🚁

Last week, I went out with my family and saw a lot of bears. Eric flew us out on a float plane and Jerry was our guide. We spotted Fin whales on the way and had a lot of fun with Jerry. Alaska Ultimate Safaris is a great group of people. I highly recommend a trip with them.
