Big Dan's Fishing Charters, Homer

I’ve gone out with them 2x and most recent was an overnight trip. We were up against some rough conditions and Captain Jesse and his crew handled it no problem. Food was included in the overnight trip, which I was nervous about but it was really good and there was more than enough! I’ve been on lots of halibut charters around the state and this most recent trip was my favorite. These guys are really experienced. Homer is one of the coolest places to visit, add this charter to your Alaska trip bucket list!

Went out with my family and friends for the first time on a halibut charter with big Dan's. We had multiple people going from different areas of the United States. The whole process from start to finish was very easy. Our point of contact Sarah was very friendly and professional and made coordinating multiple people extremely painless. The multi species fishing trip we went on was absolutely amazing. The crew, from the deck hands to the captain (Dan) were very friendly and professional. The crew knew exactly where the fish were and did their best to get us on fish. It was a slower fishing day and the crew stayed out an extra 2 hours to make sure we caught our fish. Over all the experience was much better than the 5 stars I am allowed to give. Big Dan's gave us an epic fishing trip and my buddy even landed a 150lbs halibut. We are definitely going to be going back again. If you are reading this review, I highly recommend Big Dan's fishing!
