It is located in unincorporated territory of Miami-Dade County, Florida, between the cities of Homestead and Leisure City. The structure comprises numerous megalithic stones, mostly limestone formed from coral, each weighing several tons. It is currently a privately operated tourist attraction. • Known as Florida's Stonehenge. Real cool place and still a mystery till this day. The place is both weird and wonderful at the same time. Before going to Coral Castle I had seen the place in documentaries and movies like “Nude on the Moon”. Billy Idol has also made his impact on this place with his song “Sweet Sixteen”. The guides was very eager and enthusiastic telling stories about Edward Leedskalnin, his sweet sixteen and Coral Castle. The rest of the staff was also very nice. Wonderful place!
  • Lovely place, interesting facts, the man was a genius. True Mason work from the ancient past. I do however remember before hurricane Andrew hit there were a lot more trees in the courtyard and I believe there was a maze in the back. Wish they would try to put it the way it was especially on hot days. However, they do provide umbrellas free of charge. Live tours provide interesting facts which is also something they provide with no extra charge.
