Home to more than 2,000 individual alligators, Everglades Alligator Farm gives visitors the opportunity to see the creatures in their natural habitat and view the working processes of the farm itself. The facility operates as a provider for other institutions, hatching and raising alligators in an ethical way and providing viable eggs to other farms. Wander the park's trails and paths to get a glimpse of the alligator-raising process in action, or sit in on one of the wildlife shows that include snakes and other Florida animals. If you're lucky, you'll even get to watch a live alligator feeding. One of the mainstays of any visit and quintessential Florida activity is hopping on an airboat and zipping through the lush, watery landscape of the Everglades. For travelers who use our world travel planner, Homestead holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Everglades Alligator Farm and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

Wow what a great experience. As an animal lover, this was just ab the best part of our 5 day trip here. I loved the great info from both shows and got to hold a baby alligator too! Over 250 alligators to see of all sizes. If you cant decide whether to add the boat ride, think no more, add it. Very fun, safe and once in a lifetime experience. All so affordable.

Air boat ride is a must! A quick adventure, not too long but enough to get a feel for the land. We loved the 360 turns, even got soaked (or a little wet) depending on where you sit. You can feed an Emu, see the anaconda and fun gift shop too. We loved the baby alligator pen and holding a baby alligator was unforgettable! The alligator feeding and alligator show was great, the gentleman who hosted was even better. Very friendly, patient with kids and informative/educational.
