Hike, meditate, read a book, picnic, or just enjoy the view from the green grass of Puu Ualakaa State Park, where Elvis filmed "Blue Hawaii.” Take photos of panoramic views of Diamond Head, the Pacific Ocean, and the city of Honolulu from this "rolling sweet potato hill.” Quiet, clean and refreshing, with the scent of eucalyptus in the air, the park is well equipped with restrooms, drinking water, picnic shelters, hiking trails and free parking. Look out for feral cats and mongooses running around. Drive up and down the hill carefully since the road is very curvy.
