The Gorge is stunning and the area around the Port has stunning views. Great area to walk with friends, walk your dog or walk alone.

Like others, I paid the toll in cash on the day of my crossing and received a collections notice in the mail for 30 dollars. Whatever the issue is here (apparently it's that cars don't wait for the green light before going) the Port of Hood River should likely find a fix for this. I've reached out to the Port via email and plan on setting a letter to dispute the charge. (Update - They have removed the invoice/charge. Seems like someone should still correct this issue as I'm not the only one it's happened to)
