Fantastic Museum and resource for the Hood River Community. One of the best collections of vintage airplanes and cars I’ve seen. The $20 entry fee is a bargain for what you will get to experience. Perfect for the entire family. Plan to spend at least two hours here exploring the many, many exhibits. The staff is wonderful and you will not regret your time here.

I can't believe I haven't heard of this place before, and if I have, why haven't I been here. I volunteered to drive a WWII veteran to eastern Oregon because neither in the party could drive anymore. I was told about this museum and stopped in on my way back. This place is big and clean and covers a lot of stuff, mainly airplanes and some unexpected items. They were going to build another building, but the pandemic had them use that money to stay operational. They have scooter thingies for those that can't walk too well. I'll be going back to finish my tour. You need to bring a lot of time to see it all. Well worth the visit.
