Offering a variety of rides and water attractions, Land of Make Believe & Pirate's Cove offers activities that are ideal for children younger than age 12. First opened in 1954, the amusement park has a long history and is reminiscent of decades past. Try out some of the rides, including the junior-sized roller coaster, Tilt-A-Whirl, merry-go-round, and the Civil War train that loops around the park. If rides aren't your cup of tea, visit the Petting Zoo or take in the interactive Middle Earth Theater, mazes, and hayrides. Water attractions like the Lazy River, wading pool, and waterslides keep you cool. Recently the park installed some more thrilling water rides, such as Pirate's Plunge and the Black Hole, which may be more attractive to parents or teens. Outside food is allowed inside, so bring a cooler if you like. To visit Land of Make Believe & Pirate's Cove on your trip to Hope, use our Hope trip builder website.

Wonderful day at the Land of Make Believe! Brought 2 ten year olds and a 12 year old and everyone had a blast. Love this park and how safe you feel.

Amusement park and water park, one ticket for both! One downside is while those under 3 are free, that means they don't qualify to go on majority of the rides even if they are tall enough. Also, please update Santa's Barn, it's dark and creepy. Big plus are the food prices, very affordable. It is really cool that you have the kids be in the shows, my one loved it! The animals are adorable and seem well cared for.

Land of Make Believe is a five star in my book, and here is why. We’ve been visiting LMB for many years since our kids were toddlers and it has always delivered on a fun time at an enjoyable amusement park. What makes LMB unique is that it has not changed much the unique areas it offers such as a meet and greet with Santa, a train ride around the park and the carnival style rides it offers. It has added some large water slides and the water park area is still fantastic with a very long and winding lazy river. There are plenty of lounge chairs to relax and a few even have tiki umbrellas! The staff is always pleasant, the park is always clean and they always play music from the late 50’s early 60’s. Another great feature is the admission price and food prices are very reasonable. A must have on every visit for us is the pizza in the Santa barn. I highly recommend this amusement park for families with kids for a great day out in nature while at an amusement park.
