  • Gud place for kids, walking ,picnics
  • My favorite state park in the area, and I've been going there since I was a kid. I learned to drive here, and it's fantastic place both space wise and sight wise. Within the past year or so they've done some repaving of some of the roads and parking lots, really enhancing the look and feel of the place. One gripe I have with the place though is that some of the hours during the summer are a bit weird, and the way they let you know could be a lot better. As an easily distracted teenager, it's my fault I've missed some signs and gotten locked inside before, but I do feel that the way they communicate hours (and that someone was looking for us)f could be better. Overall, awesome place, and I love that the park remains completely open charge-free during the off-season.
