Stopped by because we had the extra time on a weekend trip. Nice folks there and very informative displays. Currently there is a traveling Smithsonian exhibition covering local sports.

Beautiful house museum, very well done and fun. Our kids pretended they lived there and played house in the kitchen and dining, pretended to use the desk in the breakfast room, etcetera. They really enjoyed it and so did we. Staff were friendly and told us about the history and we got some good items at the gift shop. The price for our whole family was only 15 dollars and the kids loved getting the little museum passports and getting them stamped. The house history, local history, and lumber industry history all come together to make this place really interesting and they have knowledgeable and engaging staff. Architectural details and period items make it fun and interesting historically as well.

The Polson Museum is a must-visit location! My family loves going here. The history is so rich and fun to read about. The train room is a favorite for my kids. Also, the price is very reasonable.
