  • It's a great thing to do when you spend a day in Kentucky Down Under, the weather is hot and you need a moment to cool off! It's not as big as the other caves, but just as beautiful! It takes less...  more »
  • It was a long scenic drive to get to the place. But oh so worth the trip. At the entry the directions were weird on check in, but we got it figured out. We had a wonderful spot and the next morning we got a visit from a momma deer and her baby. We enjoyed their company for 30 minutes. There was bathroom all around within walking distance, showers were located at the back of the general store. To be able to use the showers in the laundry room you needed 6 quarters for the shower to last 5 minutes. The water was hot. The laundry room was clean.
  • I love the camp ground at Mammoth cave. The bathrooms where spotless and my site was clean . I like the fact that no one was drinking it is a family enmiovement. I would move out there if I could. I stayed 3 days it was only 60.00 the best money I have spent in a long time!
