  • If you ask me I am no longer a fan of huge gardens just because of the amount of walking involved and many a times it ends up not being as rewarding as it might seem to be. In this case Garvan...  more »
  • Beautiful garden, great place to spend a few hours if it is not too hot. Needs more trail signage. Some increase in elevation in the paths. Anthony Chapel is the main attraction.  more »
  • What a find! This place is incredible, and the value far exceeds the entrance fee asking price. Roaming peacocks, miles upon miles of paved trails, lakes, waterfalls and a cafe. The kids loved their discovery packs which we picked up from the gift shop which assisted them in locating everything on the garden bingo board. We visited in September on a very hot day. Even under the canopy, the heat of the day made it difficult to see everything. As a walking tour, this garden could almost be a multi day visit to see it all. Either way, it is definitely worth your time.
  • This is a magnificent garden, possibly the best I've visited. The main paths are easy to navigate and the off shoots are easy to find and walk also. The view points are good and the architecture, especially in the Childrens Garden is beautiful. Anyone looking for an amazing wedding chapel needs to check out the Anthony Chapel it is spectacular. Even the food at the Chipmunk Cafe was good. Try the Ruben. We'll be back for the holidays when they light up the garden.
