  • Very awesome place. The water was low when I visited the lake. The forest consists of multiple species of trees and fowl. This is an awesome place to bird watch. I actually saw a few bald eagles there as well. This is a really good place to visit during the spring when the water levels or normal. The lake was really great for kayaking. Also, after viewing real estate prices in the area, this would be a very affordable place to retire.
  • There were so many trees in this forest that I stopped naming then all after about twenty minutes. If you see You the Pine Tree, say "hi!". Love the Ouachita National Forest! So much fun to ride the bike through on a hot & humid Arkansas day!
