  • Pleasant way to sepnd a few hours. Buy your ticket at the top and then walk or drive down to the Bayou. Cross the very bouncy, swinging wooden bridge for the house and Gardens. You get to see most...

  • I enjoyed the gardens for the first time on a lovely solo birthday walk. It was so serene. I can see that it would be a lovely place for an event, as well. There was construction in some areas at the time of my visit (July 2022) and I plan to return to see what all has been added/expanded.
  • Wonderful gardens surrounding an historic mansion. Hilly and densely wooded, you don't feel like you're in Houston. The pedestrian suspension bridge over Buffalo Bayou is a special treat. The turn off Memorial Drive can be hard to see so pay attention!
