  • Seems really cool, though we did not get to enter the cistern. The hours are very limited and I wish they made visitors more aware. The visitor center was open and they told us about rotating art exhibits in the cistern that sound really neat! Wish we could have seen. Would recommend but check hours carefully! The surrounding ark is very nice to walk in either way ☺️
  • A hidden gem under Houston. The symmetry, order, and balance of the cistern are remarkable, especially since it was never intended to be seen. The lighting brings and reflection make this a hauntingly beautiful place to visit. The echoing in the chamber is also striking. I'd love to go back for one of their musical events or art installations.
