Minute Maid Park has been home to Major League Baseball's Houston Astros since 2000. Constructed with a retractable roof (the first of its kind in the city), the stadium can adjust its environment to combat bad weather and accommodate good conditions. The field consists of natural grass in sharp contrast to its predecessor's AstroTurf. Catch an Astros game if you're there during the season, otherwise, you can explore the facility on a guided tour, which takes you through the dugout, press box, bullpen, and luxury suites to see the internal functioning of a professional baseball team. Consult the stadium's event schedule for information regarding special offers and exhibits. Minute Maid Park reviews
I love going to Minute Maid to see a baseball game! As I write this, The Astros are headed to the World Series. Minute Maid has very nice facilities and good choices for food too.

Excellent park to watch the Playoff baseball! The torchys tacos stand was delicious. Also had plenty of nearby hotels to stay at and walk to the park. Great restaurants nearby for after game meal...

Minute Maid was great. It helps to have a winning team which in turn promotes a fun atmosphere with the die hard fans. The amenities were good. The only thing I would complain about not pick is the fact that when was there (vs. Oakland A’s) they ran out of regular size soft drinks so you “have to” buy a souvenir-size soft drink. I don’t think they should charge you souvenir-size when they only had been open for ~2 hours. They should charge you regular price. I know they would be losing money, but it’s the classy thing to do and more times than it hasn’t, has been done to me. It’s just good business. Other than that, it was a great experience all around.
For this game the roof was closed, but even then there is a large window that lets in plenty of natural light. Overall the stadium was easy to navigate, the staff was friendly and helpful when I had questions. It was $1 hit dog night on Tuesdays and they were excellent. These were not a discount version of a hot dog the meat was plump with a nice "snap" when I bit into it and the buns were very good. Overall this was a great experience at the ballpark and to top it off the 'Stros won!
