Minute Maid Park has been home to Major League Baseball's Houston Astros since 2000. Constructed with a retractable roof (the first of its kind in the city), the stadium can adjust its environment to combat bad weather and accommodate good conditions. The field consists of natural grass in sharp contrast to its predecessor's AstroTurf. Catch an Astros game if you're there during the season, otherwise, you can explore the facility on a guided tour, which takes you through the dugout, press box, bullpen, and luxury suites to see the internal functioning of a professional baseball team. Consult the stadium's event schedule for information regarding special offers and exhibits. Fun, Fun, Fun! What's not to like about baseball. Food selection is nice, you are sure to find something to eat or drink. Atmosphere is open and light. Restrooms are clean and staff are very friendly. An awesome place for a family outing.
I love going to our ballpark! It's alive and fun! You always feel connected to the game.. food is good but pricey. Expect to spend $20 for a burger, fries and a $6 soda.
