Benson Park, Hudson

Really pretty park with a multitude of trails and interesting sights. Beautiful 9/11 memorial and whimsical fairy tale delights! Although we did not utilize the children’s playground it looked spectacular. We rode mountain bikes all around, nice short excursion.

Beautiful park year round and playground with a dog park, walking trails, picnic pavilion and stream and pond. Wildlife and bird viewing - dragonflies, butterflies, garter snakes, beavers, geese, Jays, robins, doves, heron, rabbits, chipmunks and more. Enjoy various flowers and plants throughout the property. Signs giving history of landmarks on the property from when it was a zoo. Gorilla cages can be entered and explored. Old woman in the shoe structure from the old zoo! Great place for photo shoots by the water in natural light. Large grassy area overlooking the water for birthday parties, weddings etc. Throughout the park are trees and benches dedicated and in memory. Well taken care of, clean, ample free parking.
