Since retiring from the Federal government and then relocating to the Hume area, we first started a successful horse operation that included breeding, boarding and training. We then decided to grow a small plot of grapes for family use and like many hobbies – that has now morphed into another major life pathway. We are surrounded by some of the best vineyards and wineries in Virginia and have now decided to join the industry in our own winery adventure. We continue to run the ranch operation and you might find a horse-related activity underway during your visit.

We are one of Fauquier County's more unique and boutique wineries located in Hume, Va. Come by and find out why.

  • Nice winery stop while touring the Shenandoah valley. Quiet setting with a pond and wrap around deck to enjoy a glass or bottle. Large indoor lounge area as well with a large bar area that can accommodate many tasters. The wine was delicious to boot.
  • Carmen was so much fun (from New Orleans)!!! Enjoyed the tasting — I would give it a B+ overall — nothing bad on the classic 8 bottle tasting. Loved the port!!! Laid back and relaxed environment . Rustic decor — nice out door porch. Decent savory options as pairings for your wine. Yes, we will return!
