We had a nice visit to the caverns. Our boys (4&6) really enjoyed the tour and loved panning for gems. It was definitely worth the stop during our weekend trip! more »

We were there for the Ghosts and Goblins tour. Had a very nice time, was just scary enough for my kids ages 8 and 12. Our guide was very knowledgeable and very friendly along with the other Goblins... more »

We decided to visit these caves while on vacation in Huntington. They were interesting and very informative for my kids. It was educational and my kids loved the visit. We also bought a bag of gems for them to sort through, which they enjoyed. I would recommend wearing casual clothes, hiking boots/ shoes and a sweatshirt because the caves are quite cold inside, which was actually a nice change from the 90+ degree July day which we went! Our tour guide was great!!

I decided to go to Lincoln Caverns with my family on the way home from vacation. I have been to other caves so I knew generally what to expect but Lincoln Caverns actually surpassed my expectations by far. We arrived and paid for our tour, which was about $50 for 2 kids and 2 adults. There are tours departing every 30m so we didn't have to wait long. I still wasn't expecting anything amazing bit once we entered the first cave I was flabbergasted. The caves are unbelievable. Pictures hardly do it justice. The size of the cave complex, the number of formations, and the level of access is superb. You actually get to walk right beside, below, and around amazing formations. The tour guide will tell you not to touch anything but you still have a level of closeness that I have never seen at another cave. The guides were great, also, very knowledgeable about the geologic processes and the history of the caves since discovery. I cannot stress enough how great the caves are and how close you actually get to all kinds of formations. This is a new favorite for my family!
