Oheka Castle, also known as the Otto Kahn Estate, is a hotel located on the North Shore of Long Island, in West Hills, New York, also known as the "Gold Coast," a hamlet in the town of Huntington. It was the country home of investment financier and philanthropist Otto Hermann Kahn and his family. The name "Oheka" is an acronym using the first several letters of each part of its creator's name, Otto Hermann Kahn, which Kahn also used to name his yacht Oheka II and his ocean-front Villa Oheka in Palm Beach, Florida. The mansion was built by Kahn between 1914 and 1919, and is the second largest private home in the United States, comprising 127 rooms and over 109,000 square feet (10,100 m2), as originally configured.Make your Huntington itinerary with Inspirock to find out what to see and where to go.
Today, the castle is a historic hotel, with 32 guest rooms and suites, and is a popular wedding venue for socialites, celebrities, and dignitaries, as well as the backdrop to many photo shoots, television series and Hollywood films. The estate also offers a bar, restaurant, and mansion tours of the estate and gardens.
In 2004, Oheka was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Oheka Castle is a member of Historic Hotels of America, the official program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

Heaven on earth. Every detail. Walk the grounds for hours, find respite. Peace. Sit in the library, the entire castle can be yours. Just don’t tell everyone. It’s a little secret who needs riff raft. The sommelier and food impeccable. Locals think it’s only for weddings. Not surprised. However, If I were to envision a castle in Europe steps away from the city that no one knows about and the days of old. I’d go here. Princesses dine here, you can too.
Great scenery! You can book a room to stay over night or just dine to tour the castle. Restaurant is great! Both indoor and outdoor eating area has its own merits and photos comes out great. Staffs are friendly and accommodating. Valet parking only (bring change)
