Rappahannock Cellars, Huntly

#2 of 8 in Wineries in Rappahannock County
Recognizing the promise in Virginia wines, we moved our family’s winery from California to the Blue Ridge Mountains in the heart of Virginia’s hunt country, in Rappahannock County. Here in Virginia we continue to create rich and elegant wines dedicated to the winegrower’s art. Open daily year-round since 2001, we have established ourselves as a leader at the forefront of the Virginia wine industry. Our experienced wine making team, coupled with careful tending of the vineyard and exacting knowledge of the cellar, is producing exquisite, internationally recognized wines.

Whether it’s wine tasting, touring, or celebrating a special occasion, we strive to make your visit to our tasting room a memorable experience. Our wines are poured in distinct glasses, showcasing our white, red and dessert wines, and you can now experience our unique olive-oil and wine tasting, pairing six infused olive oils with six of our wines.

And as a family owned business, don’t be surprised to be served by one of our own. So visit us soon and enjoy the warmth and hospitality that only a family nurtured winery can provide.

Rappahannock Cellars is open year around. Come, taste, and enjoy Virginia wine at its finest.

  • Nice large rooms for tasting wines and a large parking lot. Customer service could use some work. They do have a great cheese plate and Greek flat breads.
  • Great winery for tastings. Good wine. Food trucks available.
