This is a wonderful small Zoo. The grounds are beautiful and well shaded so on a hot-day you can stay comfortable. Staff is friendly and can answer any questions you have. Parking free and admission.... more

Very nice little zoo. Priced for a family visit. Pros: Good price Nice variety of animals Close enough to be able to see the animals Pretty surroundings Great for families w/ small children. Can be seen in a couple of hours. Cons: Enclosures seem a little small for some. I needed a map to figure out where I was. Recommended visit!

The website makes it sound like their petting zoo is a lot bigger than it is. You can only pet goats and one sheep, but the sheep wasn't out when we went. Obviously they can't do anything about that, but the website was misleading. Anyhow, the zoo is nice and very well kept. With small children you can probably spend a few hours there. There is a lot of animal enrichment, so the animals looked very entertained.
