Indian Hot Springs, Idaho Springs

After reading the reviews, our stay at this unfussy hotel was a pleasure. Bring a fan as there is no AC and an extension cord because you can open the windows but there is not an outlet near the window. You’ll want to bring in that fresh mountain air. Our check in was easy and friendly. We had the “options” explained to us and realized that the hot springs pool was the best option for us, which we enjoyed and it gave a “Cocoon” vibe and we loved it. We bought our own pillows as suggested by other reviewers and that was a good idea. The bed was nice, rooms were clean and quiet. Our battery went out in our smoke detector and they were quick to get it taken care of once we brought it to their attention. We were in a comfortable walking distance from town and felt safe during the day and night walking back and forth. The caves are gender separated with clothing optional. This shouldn’t be a surprise to ANYONE coming in because they tell you this when you’re selecting your options. Based on this stay, we would definitely stay here again. What an extremely unique and relaxing place! Our room was completely renovated from what the pictures show online which was a nice surprise. From the people at the front desk to the woman who cleaned the room- the staff was so welcoming and helpful. The atmosphere of the pool is so cool and just so much fun and relaxing all at the same time. The caves were even cooler- not temperature wise lol. The ONLY thing I would have liked during our stay was a blow dryer in our room. But other than that, everything was so good. Perfect Valentine’s Day get away!
