  • The bridges and trestles are awesome! Such amazing scenery. All the staff were friendly. The seat broke off my husband's bike and the company refunded him the bike rental fee. The long tunnel...  more »
  • Absolutely a must for outdoors in our area or if you are passing through. You can rent bikes and buy the trail passes at Lookout Ski Resort! The actual trail is further east on 90 on the Montana side of the border. No need to stop at lookout if you already have bikes as trail passes and shuttle passes can be purchased at the trail. The trail is beautiful and at least 2 miles are in dark railroad tunnels (don't forget good strong headlamps or bike lights). Also it's wet in the tunnels so bring a rain jacket!
  • 5 star trail and 1 star service. Coming from far away we rented bikes and purchased the shuttle ride to take us back to top to finish the ride. Ride down is fantastic. Views were amazing. Tunnels were long and cold (bring a jacket) and info signs really informative. Downside is the shuttle service. We finished the trail after 2.5 hours going slowly down. Got to the bottom and waited for almost 2 hours for the bus to fill up so we could leave. Bus maybe was 1/4 full by the time we departed. Anyhow make sure if you take the trail that you account for a very long wait at the bottom. Bring a book.
