What began as a home business in a two-car garage has grown into Kitchen Kettle Village. The village experience includes a series of 40 boutiques that sell local, handcrafted goods. You'll discover that each shop is locally owned and sells locally made wares including food items, leather goods, furniture, and clothing. You'll even find a carriage ride service. However, the Pennsylvania Dutch attraction has its origins in old-fashioned home cooking, and the Canning Kitchen restaurant and cafe serves treats from the pantry. Kitchen Kettle Village is a great place to relax and unwind while taking in a wide variety of intriguing and quality shops. Shopping at The Oil Basin, one can find a large assortment of olive oils and balsamic vinegars (bacon and maple vinegar, anyone?). Enjoy a large range of meats and cheeses at the Aged and Cured store, have lunch at the Harvest Cafe, and buy some fudge or ice cream at Pepper Lane Fudge and Sweets or Lapp Valley Farms Ice Cream. One can enjoy wine tasting at Waltz Vineyards or buy garden variety relishes at the Jam and Relish Kitchen. All of this, plus much, much more. The village has a heavy Amish atmosphere, with plenty of horse and buggy rides and a scenic view of farmlands. The village also has Inns where you can spend a few days. This is a family-friendly, wonderful place to just relax and enjoy!

If you are in Lancaster and want to just hang out then definitely stop by. They have kettle popcorn, ice cream shop, local coffee roaster and the Infamous home made jam. This place is tiny so you can probably spend maybe 40mins to an hour here.
