This is a very special worship space. It is a calm within the storm of busy Dallas. While it is plain, it is beautiful in its simplicity. Worship services are beautiful with the monks chanting.

The Cistercian monks are knowledgeable and generous - I hope you have the opportunity to meet them. The grounds are well kept and worth a look if you come by. The adjacent school is well regarded as well.

I attended the evening prayer service during Thanksgiving week of 2021 and it was the best experience I had hoped for in making a special trip to a holy place for praise and thanksgiving for God’s wonderful blessings. On the Feast Day of St Joseph on March 19th, my family and I attended the 6:30 morning mass. It was a beautiful and memorable experience. We are blessed to have the abbey in Dallas to attend daily mass during the Lenten season. We hope to attend mass at the abbey through out the year for special feast days
