Views were great from our room, beach at Pelican is okay but you can walk over to Post Card Inn and use their beach which is bigger & nicer. Tiki bars at both were open and made strong drinks. We...

Overall I enjoyed my stay here. It was quiet, the scenery was nice, and the room was really nice. The sister resort is next door and much nicer. It's nice you can use the amenities there too. Cons are: most of the beach chairs were torn and broken, cheap to begin with. They should invest in better chairs. There is also no breakfast, even though several travel sites list breakfast. The scanner bracelet/room key thing is bulky and annoying. The biggest negative was that my room wasn't ready at check in. This was strange given that we should have actually been there the night before, but our flight was canceled. It was also after check in hour for that day too, so I'm not sure why it took an extra 25 hours to prepare our room.
