  • The Old Coast Guard Road ends at a rugged parking lot with a gate marked “No Trespassing.” Unless you’re prepared to “trespass” and hike around a mile or so in+out, not recommended. VERY HOT here. Bring a hat, sunscreen, and water if you plan on hiking in. May be better to access via the airport road, but I’m sure it’s a long hike in there too.
  • Cool spot, great views of Maui. The road is a disaster. We thought we were on the wrong road it was so bad.
