Tiger Mountain is a mountain in the U.S. state of Washington. It is at the center of the Issaquah Alps, a small range in the Eastside region of King County, Washington southeast of Seattle. The mountain is part of a designated protected area, the Tiger Mountain State Forest, and has several recreational areas used for hiking, mountain biking, and paragliding.

  • Short and steep, the fall is a great time to hike Tiger Mountain. Parking at the trailhead is possible and the overwhelming crowds have dropped to a reasonable amount.  more »

  • Been hiking this area since I was a kid. Good trails, nice forested area in a great location, close to major cities. Good for moderate to short hikes, depending on the trail.
  • My family knew several people who lived o the Mountain as I was growing up. Road horseback all over the Mountain. Beautiful.
