  • Such a treat to find this museum, and in Mississippi of all places! Right now they are in the process of slowly moving to a new location. You can see an exhibit on manuscripts from Timbuktu that date back to the middle ages at one of the MS Museum of art complex buildings. The new location on Capitol Street is where the introductory exhibits are located. Both spaces are only a few short blocks from each other.
  • Excellent docents, well researched interpretation and attractive displays. A great museum to visit to learn history that isn't taught in school!
