  • I haven't written a review in a while due to my busy work schedule, but this deserved to be reviewed. So, I finally made the time. We truly had a fantastic tour of the Mississippi State Capitol...

  • Being from Louisville, it's crazy that I just visited this place last week! However, I must say that I'm thoroughly impressed with my home state's capitol! It's undoubtedly beautiful and represents our state well. The tour guide was very informative and gave us some fun facts along our journey. I highly recommend the Mississippi Capitol for field trips. Perhaps you can even contact your representative to sit in on a congressional session!
  • As a resident of MS and tour guide at State Capitol, I am very proud of how it represents us. It was designed by Theodore Link in 1901. The photos were taken during the Book Festival so definitely a much larger crowd than normal. What I like most is the fact that it has 10 different types of marble; foreign and domestic. There are also 4,750 original light fixtures. It’s built on Beaux-Art Style which was popular from 1890-1920. Visitors who are touring all state capitols have stated that MS has one of the nicest. There is so much history under one roof and it’s simply beautiful. I highly recommend visiting if in the area or passing through!
