  • You can visit it as part of a free tour, or on your own. Opted for the latter. Nice capitol, worth visiting if in the area. Just be warned, it is visited by school groups, so it can get noisy...

  • I came to Jackson on a whim once and came to this absolutely stunning capitol building. What an excellent way to represent your state for my first visit. (Especially compared to that awful looking one in North Dakota) Also, ran into a congressman and his wife in the elevator and struck up a conversation with them. You could tell he had a lot of pride in his state. He even took me to his office and gave me a pen which was a nice gesture.
  • So beautiful! We love visiting the Capital Buildings in each state. I'm curious to why the new one. The old one is just down the road. A little love and would be great. Both are beautiful.
