  First time going snowshoeing and the family had a great time. We had a guided snowshoe tour and Rob was fantastic! Taught us the techniques to use when going up/down hill. Rob would also stop and show us things that we would have otherwise missed. Deer tracks, tree damage caused by bears/deer. Evidence of woodpeckers. the trails were well maintained. If you have ever thought about trying snowshoeing, i highly recommend trying Jackson XC.

  This is one of the best places to learn XC skiing in New England. There is so much terrain for every skill, and the prices are more than fair for rentals, trail passes, and Learn 2 packages. The staff is ready to help with any question you have, and there are a bunch of sandwich and other restaurants around the area. Hit the Hot Cocoa House if it’s your first time; relax by the fire and pass the time talking to the guys manning the place who are usually studying forestry management or something else that’s awesome.
