  • Lots of thrill rides and a great place to spend a day walking and taking in the sun if you don't like rides. Handicap accessibility notes: - see the Ride Accessibility office for a pass that will accommodate your needs based on physical, cognitive or other needs. - there are handicap accessible restrooms, but limited companion restrooms . The only single stall restrooms that could accommodate a wheelchair are in first aid, which is hard to find. There is an additional single-stall restroom in the Lost Parents building, but it is not large enough to accommodate a wheelchair. -Some surfaces a challenge to drive over in a wheelchair (bumpy, cracked sidewalks). However, on the plus side, the park has few hills, making it possible to navigate solo in a manual or automatic wheelchair possible. Dining plan and reusable cups: research these plans to see if they are for you. Lines can be long during the times of day when you can use the dining pass, which is frustrating. However, there are pretty good options for dining: Asian, Mexican, Italian, gyros, buffalo wings, burgers, vegetarian meals are just a few. More companion restrooms would really help people with disabilities, single parents, and gender neutral guests of the park. That said, they seem to do their best and are always helpful and respectful of the people in our party with special needs.
  • This is a great amusement park. The roller coaster lineup is really unique and has so serious gems, the best of which is, far and away, El Toro. The staff was great for an opening weekend when we went. Most of the rides were also operating with at least two trains and dispatch times were pretty solid. As the season goes on, more and more shops and rides will open but I think we got a great trip for opening weekend. I recommend this park highly and know you will enjoy it, so long as it is not too crowded. They could use one more signature coaster, but the flat ride collection is getting real nice.
