  • We were really impressed with the collection. Well displayed. The art work was beautiful. The restaurant inside is beyond our expectation.

  • Beautiful permanent display of wildlife art. We were fortunate to catch a local artist exposition while we were here which was an added bonus. Plan for 1.5 - 2 hrs. The only negative was the cafe which was not conducive to grabbing a quick snack. It’s about two miles from the north end of Jackson which lets you have a nice walk along the south western border of the National Elk Refuge.
  • My wife and I stopped in after a day up in Yellowstone and we both enjoyed the museum. Having been to many art museums, and taken an art history class in college, most museums are far too broad for my taste, but this one has a central theme of wildlife, and while still having multiple styles and mediums of art, kept my attention the whole way through. Beyond the art itself there were many historical installations, a recreation of John Clymer's studio with pages of his reference and methods, Thomas Moran's sketches, and one of my favorites was a step by step piece about how bronze casting works. For kids there is a very interactive kids room, and on the day we went, an area to make paper flowers. Definitely a neat little stop
