Pon Pon Chapel was built in 1820 in Jacksonboro, South Carolina. It was located "on Parker’s Ferry Road, the busy stagecoach thoroughfare that connected Charleston, South Carolina and Savannah, Georgia."
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.

  • Great historical location. Clean and educational Recommend for all ages. Interesting Sad they have to have gates to keep bad people out.  more »
  • This is a nice small ruin with a few gravestones. There's not much to it so I wouldn't suggest a special trip to see it but if it's not too far out of your way, it's a lot of fun. I'm not sure where.....  more »
