Alhambra Theatre & Dining Reviews
My husband and I had such an amazing time. Get there at 5:30 so you have time to enjoy a cocktail in the library. The establishment is so very charming and warm. Our table was perfect with its... more »
Really nice experience, we were surprised such a high quality of the whole performance. Great choreography, amazing production. Only downside is really little space at the table. more »
I went to the “Mid Life Crisis” matinee today and had my 93 year old friend with me who had never been there before. I raved about the food and service and of course the shows we’ve seen. The show was great, however, the food and service were very disappointing. First her chicken was actually tough... could not be cut even with a sharp knife. She was brought a new plate with fish and shrimp. My prime rib was mostly fat and I picked at it to get some good pieces. I had a couple of tiny potatoes with it and about 5 pieces of asparagus. The salad was really good but the chocolate cake was very dry. I actually was hungry when I got home and enjoyed my leftovers from Sonny’s. Our server very seldom came back to ask us if we needed anything. I actually looked for him more than once to get more coffee and other items and asked other servers as they went by to get something. My husband and I have been going to Alhambra for 7 years and have always enjoyed the show and never come home hungry and usually have great service. I hope tomorrow night will be better since we are scheduled to attend the John Denver show for the 3rd time since we love his show and Alhambra. I hope that my friend’s next experience there is much better too.
Wow what a fantastic show, would go again tonight if I had tickets. Food is always good but by far the best yet, the prime rib was so tender you could cut it with your fork, all of the vegetables were cooked just right. Can't even think of a word to describe how good it was. The staff always does a good job. If you want a great night out with dinner the Alhambra is the place to go hands down.
