  • Beautiful mountain. This is NOT an easy hike, but the mountain is welcoming to beginners and experienced hikers. Reservations are required for parking. From the lot, there are two trails-white dot and white cross. Both offer a challenge. You can do this in sneakers but boots are better. Bring enough water. If you think you only need two bottles bring three. You'd prob rather have more and carry it down than not enough. But the summit is beautiful and very worth the climb. Going up makes you feel accomplished. Coming down, well your legs will likely feel like jelly. But it is a great hike.
  • Great hike with the Family. Chilly day but we were prepared for it. Recommend the White Dot Trail up and White Cross down. White Cross has some very icy spots but microspikes worked great and walked on edge of path for better traction. Will be back to try other trails!
