  • Very nice area of Jekyll Island. There are picnic tables, small pavilion, restrooms, bait and supply store, beautiful beach, huge fishing pier, and wonderful views.
  • There are several things to do down the road to the Clam Creek picnic area. Including fishing, horse back riding, and nature watching. There are several picnic tables and a restroom. But the Jekyll Pier is probably the biggest destination. Here many fishermen gather. The pier also offers a view of St. Simon's and the ships that travel the waters to Brunswick Port. Dolphins can often be seen. You can walk along the beach or down a path through a salt water marsh. Shore birds, hawks and herons are common. The road is narrow and the speed limit low. So walkers and bikers can share the road.
