Georgia Sea Turtle Center is dedicated to the rehabilitation and protection of injured, sick, and disabled turtles. Founded as an organization for conservation, the center conducts research and educational programs to increase awareness and support for sea turtles. Though it's a working hospital, the facility is still open to the public. Visit to learn more about turtle conservation, and, of course, say hello to some of the patients. If you're coming from the beach, take note that you must wear shoes, a shirt, and cover your swimsuit.   • These volunteers are working so hard to treat the injured turtles from Georgia beaches. We even watched a surgery being performed. A great treat for children!  more »
  • The staff was very inviting and we were able to learn a great deal sea turtles. My kids really enjoyed themselves. My 3 year old woke up the next morning telling me about what he'd learned.
