Jekyll Fishing, Jekyll Island

Capt. Wood took two novices on an in-shore fishing excursion and showed us a great time. Caught a red fish which was my goal. A nice little shark too that was released unharmed. Pretty cool to catch that. Also caught a whole bunch of trout, many that we were able to keep and some we released to catch again another day. My son and I had a great time.

Highly recommend! We had a fantastic day with Capt Griff! He is extremely knowledgeable about all things fishing and you can tell he is passionate about it. Our family of 4 caught several fish and a few sharks too! It was an incredible experience for us, especially our kids (11 and 6 yo). Capt Griff does it all and made the trip so enjoyable. We also were able to see some of the beautiful scenery around Jekyll and the surrounding islands.
