Raku Gallery was named such for the Zen translation of 'raku' meaning ease, enjoyment, contentment, pleasure and happiness. The gallery now represents over 200 artists predominately from the Southwest. Kurt and Lynette Ammann, have lived in the area since 2003 and bring fresh, new energy to the gallery. • My mother stopped in while visiting the area. She was overjoyed the glass blower was able to squeeze in a demonstration even though she was short on time. The resulting cup is absolutely gorgeous and never makes it into the cupboard because everyone wants to use it!!!
  • Tracy was such a delight! He was informative and provided great advice while showing us how he creates some of his clay items. We loved the experience and the items available are beautiful and functional. We will definitely come back during the cooler months to check out the glass blowing process! I love the items purchased and can't wait to use them!
