Great park to run around and/or relax. You can also grab a coffee from nearby places. This park provides excellent views of Manhattan skyline. There are many benches and seats to sit and enjoy the view. It’s typically not crowded but it can get crowded if there is an event. Overall a very nice place to unwind.
A wonderful to gather at dusk to see all people from walks of life. My personal favorite is seeing the Chinese people do a very relaxing yoga like dance together. I love to bring my son to the end of the Pier to play with other kids on the evening before bedtime ...everyone is super friendly.
