  Great green space in downtown Johnson City! The park layout and landscaping creates a series of spaces, from the amphitheatre to the creek, and the great lawn. There is a changing selection of statues and art along the sidewalks. The park hosts many events throughout the year, including outdoor yoga, founders after 5 free concerts, Shakespeare in the park, and many festivals. There is even a citizen science project at the west end of the park, where you can learn about the flooding problems in Johnson City and report the current water level of the creek.

  Founders Park is 5 acres of green space, farmers market, a walking trail that is pet friendly and full of Sculptures, trees and flowers! It’s a free venue with lots of upcoming actives in the coming weeks. A lovely, leisurely place to be.
