Stopped by to grab some home made ice cream and it was really good, my son had gone for a field trip and he kept raving about how good it was, I'd go back more »
Ice cream is super tasty. It's a different style of ice cream, very creamy, heavier than other local ice creams. Fruit flavor I had was excellent, full of blueberry flavor. Coffee flavor was solid as well. Would try it again to get other flavors. Looked like they sell lots of their products there: milk, sausage, ice cream, etc.
Down home feel. Up close and personal with the cows. The humane treatment of their variety of cows. The ice cream store and the wagon tour is a must! Their milk is pasteurized without killing the good bacteria in the milk the way all other milk at the store is done. I could eat a scoop of ice cream without digestive distress. You have to visit the farm even though Homeland Milk and Ice Cream can be found in local stores.
