    We enjoy the free camping this lake offers. Park North of the damn and walk across to access the beautiful waterfall. When water is high kids can swim under the waterfall for hours. (No swimming in the actual lake) South of the lake are the hiking/hunting trails. They are covered in wildflowers. We visit this lake several times a year and can't wait till our next stay!

    Those looking for a nice area to hunt, fish or recreate will be pleased upon their visit here. The campsites are primitive sites, some with shaded picnic tables. During high water pools that force the spillway to be active yields another added reason to visit this lake, which is the beautiful 35 foot high waterfall.
