Changing Tides, Juneau

Excellent shop! A wide array of sea-related fabrics, patterns, notions and laser-cut appliques, as well as regular quilting fabrics. Many, many batiks, including some printed exclusively for this shop (some designed by Barbara Lavallee). Some of our party were pleased by the yarn and floss selection...unavailable at home, but found here! A bonus is the gift selection, mostly local, including cool jewelry. A must-stop!

Charming Bride is an avid and renown quilter. Searching out quilt stores on our various tours is part of the experience. We sought out Changing Tides and it was a delightful shop in Juneau. They have many Alaska designed fabrics that are worthy of a side trip to see. The staff was most helpful and very knowledgeable in selecting matching fabrics. If you are a quilter, then Changing Tides is a place to go!
