Simply put, absolutely incredible! A gorgeous and leisurely walk through winding trails to the river with an fantastic view of Mendenhall Glacier. The walk through the forest was very much like walking through a fantasy world. The pictures do not afford this place the glory it deserves. We were fortunate to be there when the salmon were running. You must see thos place for yourself. If one word were to be used to size this place up, it would be BREATHTAKING!!!

Ran into a bear...there were already 4 park rangers on site. He was spectacular and gorgeous (the bear not the ranger)LOL
