  • Kahalu''u Beach is famous for the turtles that come in to rest and eat, which makes the snorkeling so much fun. It is very rocky, however, and you do have to be careful around any coral growing so...  more »
  • This is a beautiful daily coastal beach stop, (for my bike ride route). Waters are shallow are warm, reef has a surf break. Don't be a noob and stand on the coral heads! Some will swim out and scold.....  more »
  • Nice but not as nice as other beaches on the big Island.
  • OK place to snorkel. The reef isn't very healthy but there are some fish. Getting in and out is relatively easy making it a good place for kids.
