  • Amazing forest with unbelievable diversity. Our guide (grandson of owner) was very knowledgeable and helpful. Great value if you love plants/trees/forests.

  • The Kona Cloud Forest Sanctuary is magical. We joined the tour this past weekend with Norm and his grandson Drew and we were blown away. They have created an incredible experience and being that so much of this forest was them planting over the past 40 years, makes it even more special. Quite the labor of love! From the 100s of different varieties of bamboo and trees that were skyscraper tall, the ferns that seemed to be dancing in the breeze, to the beautiful flora, the forest was incredible. My favorite is the Blue Marble trees, with roots that are awe in size and majesty (picture), just beyond words. This amazing wonder is a short distance up the hill from The Kona airport on the slopes of the Hualalai Volcano and a must see!
  • What a magical place!! Drew shared so much knowledge about the plants and the history of the land! The tour was a mild walk jam packed with fascinating information. I would recommend this amazing journey to anyone visiting the area! It feels like you’re deep in the forest without having to travel far. I can’t wait to go back and take in the magical energy again!
