This tour is a 'must do' on the big island! Definitely worth the nominal fee charged for the experience. Our guide, Lezleigh, did an amazing job of walking us through the vanilla production process, including surprising tastes of the vanilla produced. Her passion for what she does and the vanilla itself is obvious and contagious. You come away from the tour with a true appreciation and better understanding of this awesome spice! I bought a kit to make my own extract and am excited to start it when I get home.

Our tour guide was Lezleigh who has a passion for all things vanilla. This made for a very interesting and informative tour. Did you know the vanilla bean actually comes from an orchid. You'll learn this and so much more. Well worth the stop!
